Ellie O’Brien

I have more than twenty years’ experience in accounting and finance in a variety of business and nonprofit settings. Before joining Propel in 2022 I was the Director of Finance at a domestic violence shelter for six years. Working alongside folks who had dedicated their careers to serving others, I found my passion for supporting the nonprofit sector. At Propel I get to use my experience and financial tools to support a variety of organizations and their missions.

In my free time I enjoy hiking MN state parks, knitting, reading, and spending time with my spouse, two teenage daughters and our dog.
