Reflection from previous NIGP grant and technical assistance (TA) receipt from Propel Nonprofits, “We’ve learned that funding for strong systems and operations is vital. When an organization has strong, stable systems (i.e. accounting, marketing, social media, funding, grant writing) the work does, in fact, get easier.” -The Park Place, Minneapolis
The Nonprofit Infrastructure Grant Program (NIGP) has received appropriations from the State of Minnesota since 2017 to create a grant program to build organizational infrastructure capacity of small, nonprofit, culturally specific organizations that serve historically underserved communities throughout the state. To date, Propel has awarded $3.5 million in grants to 70 small, nonprofit, culturally specific organizations throughout the state of Minnesota. NIGP was made possible by the advocacy work of our incredible partners The Coalition of Asian-American Leaders (CAAL). Thank you to them and the other incredible partners that have made this program possible.
