Dave Nozal

Before coming to Propel, I spent 28 years in the nonprofit sector focusing on conservation corps, urban forestry, and project management. I’ve worked with thousands of youth to help develop basic job skills while working in metro parks to create needed and lasting improvements to these public spaces. I’m a certified arborist and the past President of the Minnesota Park Supervisors Association. In 2001, I returned to school to obtain an IT Management degree from Concordia University and ever since I’ve split my duties between project management and IT management.

I’m excited to bring my IT skills and experience to Propel Nonprofits. I have a passion for working with databases and using that data to tell a story. I enjoy teaching, sharing, and coaching others on all things IT.  I strive to deliver exceptional customer service at all times and  feel privileged to work with an organization that helps so many wonderful nonprofits in Minnesota.

When not at work, I like to work on home improvement projects, cook, and enjoy Minnesota’s four seasons. I share my life with my wife, daughter, son, and three energetic Labrador Retrievers.
