I have spent my career working, volunteering and consulting with nonprofit organizations. I’ve held various roles ranging from Executive Director, to Program Manager, to Receptionist. My consulting began in 2010 and have focused on small organizations serving and/or led by BIPOC communities. Currently, I serve as Board Chair for two boards, one is a national civil rights organization representing refugees from Southeast Asia and the other one is a domestic violence prevention and services organization serving Hmong families in Ramsey County. I also teach at St. Catherine University in Organizational Leadership and at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management and Governance. My educational background includes an undergraduate business administration degree from Metro State University, and a graduate degree in organizational leadership from St. Catherine University; I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Fielding Graduate University. I have two young adult children, and have lived in the Twin Cities for over 40 years.
