
Saengmany Ratsabout
Saengmany Ratsabout is a seasoned program strategist, independent scholar, and community advocate with nearly 25 years of nonprofit experience. He has led community-engaged initiatives across public history, strategic planning, civic engagement, and social justice, holding roles from employment counselor, program staff, and operations administrator to executive director.
His consulting work began in 2007, integrating a social justice framework into service models for a social services agency. Since then, he has advised international media organizations, philanthropic institutions, and civil society groups on public history initiatives, program design, strategic planning, and fund development. He has held leadership roles with local and national organizations, a state council, and a city planning commission, and currently serves on several nonprofit, foundation, and governance boards.
Saengmany’s consulting philosophy is rooted in community-informed approaches, providing a grounded perspective on nonprofit operations and impact. He emphasizes equity, sustainability, and system-level change in his work. Holding an M.A. in Southeast Asian Studies and a Master of Liberal Studies, Saengmany integrates these principles into every aspect of his consulting practice.
