Sara Wessling
For over two decades Sara has worked with nonprofit organizations across the state of Minnesota delivering training, technical assistance and consulting support in areas ranging from volunteer engagement to board development and financial leadership. Supporting the work of nonprofit organizations and their leaders is her passion. Sara has worked in roles developing programs at a national child care association, a state support organization for Habitat for Humanity, and an association of leaders of volunteers. Sara has a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management from Hamline University and an undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology. Although she grew up on a farm in rural Iowa, and still has family there, Sara now calls Minnesota and the Twin Cities her home. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, trying new restaurants, reading fantasy novels, and exploring Minnesota’s natural wonders and roadside attractions.
