Teresa Bettmann
I am inspired by the good work done by nonprofits and their communities and have spent my career in the nonprofit sector both in programs and development. My range of experience extends from facilitating youth leadership programs in Guatemala to donor relations and administration for recurring giving programs, to the development of an institutional partnership program, and serving as a lead relationship manager. I thrive when given the opportunity to support others to reach their goals and am energized working with individuals and groups in people-centered work.
I obtained bachelor’s degrees in psychology and Spanish from St. Catherine University. The psychology nerd in me has always been interested in how people learn and interact, which makes me excited to be part of the Training Team at Propel Nonprofits. I feel privileged to have lived in both Spain and Guatemala, while always coming home to Minnesota. When not working, I enjoy quality time with family and friends, eating tacos and ice cream, and planning our next trip with my husband.
