A Day of Learning, Connection, and Financial Leadership

Propel Nonprofits

Last week, nonprofit leaders from across Minnesota came together for the 2026 Nonprofit Finance Conference, hosted by Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and sponsored by Propel Nonprofits. The day was filled with practical learning, honest conversations, and shared commitment to building financially resilient organizations. We had so much fun connecting with old friends and new for the first time in-person since 2019!

Throughout the conference, participants explored real‑world nonprofit finance challenges—from navigating uncertainty to strengthening financial decision‑making—and connected with peers who are doing this work every day. Sessions grounded complex financial concepts in nonprofit realities and emphasized the critical link between mission, strategy, and financial health.

This sold-out event had a constant, exciting buzz. It was wonderful to see leaders connecting over financial leadership and discussing how we create sustainable organizations even during challenging times. The conference reinforced something we hear often: nonprofit leaders value spaces that combine technical expertise with community and shared purpose.

We’re grateful to the presenters, partners, and attendees who made the 2026 Nonprofit Finance Conference such a meaningful gathering, and we look forward to continuing this work together.
