The Good Acre
History
As the largest nonprofit food hub in Minnesota, we are dedicated to empowering farmers and food entrepreneurs to achieve economic prosperity. Our approach is grounded in sustainability and community well-being, as we actively work towards fulfilling our mission to unlock economic opportunity for farmers in our region through a unique combination of personalized support and market development. Collaboration is at the heart of our efforts, as we work with our partners to build an equitable food system that centers and amplifies BIPOC voices.
Strategic Priorities
From our 2023 strategic plan:
1. Increase the number of farmers we serve and deepen the services we offer.
2. Develop transformational relationships to create sustained and ongoing demand for farmers.
3. Invest in internal systems to ensure that our capacity matches aspirations.
4. Develop a sustainable resource model that allows us to realize our goals.
